3G Sports Pitch Official Opening
International sports stars and former Pembroke School pupils, Jonathon Thomas and Nadia Lawrence opened the new 3G sports pitch at Ysgol Harri Tudur/Henry Tudor School on 22 January 2020.
Pupils and students from the LRC took part in a surfing programme delivered by the Sports Pembrokeshire's Get Out and Get Active scheme and The Outer Reef Surf School.
Naomi Evans, who is an active member of the School Council and Pembrokeshire Youth Assembly, attended the launch of the Fearless Campaign in Llanelli.
The initiative is funded by the Dyfed Powys Police and Crime Commissioner, and the conference aims to inspire youth workers to empower children and young people to speak up about crime. The event follows a digital campaign which drew young people’s attention to the risks of exploitation, drugs and cybercrime.
